Did you hear that? It's the sound of Mark sipping his coffee and Steven clicking his pen. Must be The Easy Mode Podcast.
This episode, the guys talk about Fallout: New Vegas, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Costume Quest, Super Meat Boy, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Medal of Honor. Plus we take your listener questions to end the show.

Who would win in a battle between the unicorn in Robot Unicorn attack and Bjorn Unicorn from Peggle? Tough call.
This week saw us talk about the merits of Medal of Honor, our fresh Fallout: New Vegas impressions and finish off with some casual iPhone games.

The robots that we use to simulate the voices of Mark and Tyler went berserk earlier this week so we had to call in the help of Russ to fill the minimum American quota. That is what we call equality, folks.
It's a jam-packed podcast this week; the threesome manage to talk about Enslaved, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Alan Wake: The Writer DLC, Medal of Honor, Sonic 4: Episode 1, Halo: Reach and Aliens vs. Predator. There's also a slew of general nonsense game talk that we inadvertently delve into.

Under all that hate and vitriol, we somehow manage to talk about video games this week.
The guys chat about Comic Jumper, Team Fortress 2, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Sniper: Ghost Warrior and other games without subtitles.

Despite your best efforts, we've returned for another edition of the Easy Mode Podcast. We thought we would change it up and deliver you something engaging and interesting but then we end up talking about obese people playing DDR. It's good to be back.
After a two week hiatus, we kick things off with a Halo: Reacharound Table, some Civ 5 talk, Minecraft, AR Defenders, Darksiders and Enslaved.

Since me and Steven are in intense training for the Commonwealth Games (lawn darts, if you must know), the podcast has unfortunately been delayed once again. Please refrain from listening to other podcasts during this time. I know it's tempting, but it just won't be the same. no comments

Leicester-based instrumental post-rock band, Maybeshewill, are currently gearing up for the release of their new EP To The Skies From A Hillside, and have decided to release a home-made video for the EP's title track on Youtube. Whilst the video is pretty lo-fi, it's good to see that the band are still on form following the release of 2009's Sing The Word Hope In Four-Part Harmony.
"From The Skies To A Hillside" is a suitably epic track, and sees the band building on their trademark sound -- the juxtaposition of crushing guitar alongside some deft and graceful piano and sample work; the band's music truly does a great job of instilling a feeling of finding beauty in ugliness.
The full EP is set to release on October 4th on Field Records, or can be bought from the Robotneedshome -- the band's own record label. Check out the video for "To The Skies From A Hillside" below.

Building on the strength of their impressive debut EP, Tall Ships are back with a new five-track EP "There Is Nothing But Chemistry Here", which is due out on October 25th on Big Scary Monster Records. To celebrate this, the band have made the track "Chemistry" available as a free download. The track can be downloaded from here, or alternatively you can check it out in the embedded player below. Either way, the track is unmistakably Tall Ships, and is well worth taking a couple of minutes to check out.
