Mass Effect 2 Journal: Day Two

I've decided to keep a running journal of my thoughts as I play through Mass Effect 2 this weekend, and update it daily.

** Warning! Major plot spoilers. Recommended only for people that have already completed Mass Effect 2. **

0754 - Back in the fold. Decided to shake things up a bit and eat breakfast before my morning sesh. Spam, eggs and rice.

0757 - I downloaded all the free DLC - new armor, a new crew member, and a new mission (to go to the Normandy's wreckage). This game is feeling bigger every minute.

0801 - Man, the achievements list is totally spoilerific. Also, I've been thinking about my character's voice. Is it the same for everyone? I haven't made a new character since 2007 and I can't remember.

0809 - Oh my god, so many side quests. I need to stop talking to people.

0838 - Man, I really want to see what a quarian's face looks like.

0922 - Miranda's sidequest complete. Seemed like a whole lot of hoopla for nothing. But then she said something about "personal feelings". I know where this is headed.

0940 - Seriously, Garrus can't clean himself up a bit? He looks like a train wreck. Heading to Tuchanka, the krogan homeward. This should be interesting.

1005 - What a dump. Watching a really lame dog fight, Michael Vick would be ashamed.

1010 - Doing the salarian doctor's side quest. Glad I don't have to drive the truck. Funny how driving was such a big part in the first game, and they totally scrapped it in this one.

1055 - Taking a lunch break. My loading screen just informed me that there are no good galactic dating services.

1311 - Back. Doing the krogan side quest.

1343 - Thresher mawed.

2157 - I was gone for a while - babysitting the little one, making dinner, and watching "The Invention of Lying". Not a bad movie, I'll have to do a review on it soon.

2158 - I've officially done all the loyalty sidequests for all of the people in my team - the first wave of them. Up next, I'm going to tackle the DLC missions and recruit the rest of my team.

2208 - Miranda totally wants me.

2250 - Just spent some quality time with the wreckage of the first Normandy. Collected some dog tags…I feel like I've done that in a video game before.

2254 - Had to Google the M-920 Cain heavy weapon. I couldn't get it to fire. Apparently, it needs to be at above 100% to work. I'm at 90% now.

2308 - Okay, that's it for me tonight. Tune in tomorrow!
